What we collect when you ask Desi Gravies to call your kitchen, why we collect it, and who helps us deliver that message.
Who we are
Desi Gravies publishes this website for restaurant and catering kitchens, with the current pilot focused on the Greater Toronto Area. Write to sales@desigravies.com about this policy or a callback request.
A callback request is a sales enquiry. It is not an order, a booking, or a payment. A later quotation or supply arrangement, if we make one, is a separate conversation.
What we collect
The quote form asks for the details our sales team needs to call you back. Nothing is sent until you submit the last step. There is no public page that lists customer submissions.
The host that serves the site may also record the technical details of a page request, such as the address of the device and the page that was opened.
- Name
- Phone number
- Restaurant or company name
- Products you select and the approximate quantity and unit for each
- Where on the page you opened the form
- An optional cost comparison, if you attach one
- A request reference created in your browser
How we use it
We use those details to call you about this enquiry, prepare an indicative quotation, and keep a copy of the request in the sales inbox. Submitting the form is your agreement to that call. There is no order and no payment.
We also use a short-lived limit on repeated submissions so one number or network cannot flood the inbox. That limit is held in memory on the server and is not a customer database.
Who helps us
The site is hosted on Vercel. If you allow analytics, Vercel also receives page-view and performance measurements. Analytics stays off until you accept it.
The enquiry email is sent through Resend to our sales inbox. We do not sell personal information, and we do not give the public a way to read it back.
How long we keep it
The sales inbox keeps the enquiry for as long as we need it to respond and keep a record of the conversation. You can ask us to delete it by writing to the sales address, unless we need to keep it for a legal reason.
